Instructions for the Crocheted Wire Bracelet / Necklace

All Fashionably Wired® crocheted wire bracelets can be worn as both a bracelet and a necklace (although not at the same time!) While very clever and quite versatile, but can perhaps be a bit confusing for the first-time wearer.

How the crocheted bracelets are made:
Each bracelet is crocheted in a "twist" with half the beads on one side and half on the other.

Bracelet is crocheted from wire and twisted
The clasp is the double bead wired into one end of the bracelet.

Bracelet clasp is the double bead at the end
The two halves are twisted together. Twist in more, and the bracelet is smaller. Twist out more, the bracelet is longer. Each bracelet can adjust up or down by an inch and a half.

Twist the two halves of the bracelet wire to size it up or down
To close the bracelet: To open the bracelet:
Insert the double bead clasp into the loop formed at the other end of the twist and bend down.

Insert the double bead into the loop to clasp
Unclasp by pushing the double bead back out of the loop.

To add the necklace extender to the bracelet:
Take the double bead end of the extender and "button" it into the loop end of the bracelet.

Button the clasp from the extender into the bracelet loop
Put the necklace around your neck.

Voila!

Your bracelet is now a necklace.
